The clean waters of FRENCH CREEK must not be sacrificed to serve one Black Hills community when that community had other options, including continuing to discharge its treated sewage wastewater into the Creek it has already polluted with 40 years of its wastewater.

Residents of Custer County and a South Dakota premier tourism site, Custer State Park, should not been the “selected” recipients of Custer City’s sewage wastewater without a complete Environmental Assessment of Environmental Impact Study of the consequences of that action.

Whether you are an area resident or have visited the Black Hills and Custer State Park, you have likely enjoyed the scenic beauty, wildlife viewing, fishing, and other recreational opportunities currently provided by FRENCH CREEK. Help us to keep the same opportunity for future generations!
